Find out moreAl-Falah Braintree Islamic Centre was founded in 1978, providing Friday Jummah facilities for the few Muslim families then living and working in Braintree.
In 2000 a derelict Royal British Legion building was leased to Al-Falah, and the community worked to turn it into a permanent mosque with prayer and wudu facilities.
Today the mosque door is open 24/7 and provides Jummah and the five daily prayers, weekend Madrasa, marriage registry, Janaza services, Tarawih and a weekly sisters' gathering, serving a truly multicultural community.
We've nearly reached our goal of building our new Musjid and would love your support.
